It doesn't matter

It doesn't matter how many times do you pray. What matter is how khusu' you are in each of the prayer.

It doesn't matter how many good deeds you do. What matter is how sincere you are in doing the good deeds.

It doesn't matter how many sins you committed. What matter is how repentance you are when you realized you committed a sin.

It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are. What matter is how grateful you are for what you have.

It doesn't matter how strong or weak you are. What matter is how strong you can fight yourself.

It doesn't matter how many days you fast. What matter is how much you benefit from the fast.

It doesn't matter what level of intelligence you have. What matter is how wise you use your intelligence.

It doesn't matter how high your rank in a society. What matter is how often you realize how low your position as a slave.

It doesn't matter how many sentence you read. What matter is how willing you are to change yourself.

You Cannot Change The World

Change. Change is a very powerful word. It is easy to say the word yet hard to implement it in our daily life. We cannot change people. We just can't. It is not our power to change people. Only Allah s.w.t can change people's heart.

As a human being, we can only influence, provoke or manipulate how people thinks by Allah's will. The people himself or herself that actually make the decision based on the influence or provocation or the manipulation put onto them. It is much better if a human being able to make a decision out of influence, provocation and manipulation of others.

There is a commotion over the need to change the world. We cannot change the world. The correct phrase should be "We need to change OURSELVES". The world cannot change by itself. The people living in this world that need to change. We need a major change. Both in our lifestyle and our thinking. If we can change ourselves then the world can be changed.

Stop Gambling

I do not agree.

Why do we have to legalise gambling just because we want to keep the money from flowing overseas and boost our economy? Is there no other way? Okay, maybe I  am not that good at economy but any sane people already knows that gambling is not good. It brings more harms than benefits. Maybe we can save billions of  RM from cashing out, but remember we have to deal with the aftermath. Billions of RM will be spend to lower the crime rate, to prevent graft, to stabilise family institution and so on. I am very sure we are at the losing end. 

Moreover, if gambling is legalise I am not sure if the local bookies will still invest their 'money' locally. Surely they will be betting in those lucrative foreign betting channels. And where is our RM, oops, its flowing out to overseas now.

Yes, Chinese love to gamble. It is their passion as long as it involves money. Well, not all Chinese have that passion. Just because few rich Chinese people (okay maybe 'few' is not the word) has the urge to gamble, doesn't mean we have to legalise it. As far as gambling is concern, there are more Malays buying that 4D in those sports TOTO outlets than Chinese. Okay, I don't have the statistics but just park outside those outlets and count how many Chinese and Malays. That is my statistics. Legalising sport gambling means we are producing more lazy Malaysians especially the Malays.

As far as economy is concern, I am sure that we have our way, Malaysian way, to best deal with our economy. Gambling brings more harm to our community. That is why Allah s.w.t prohibit Muslims to gamble. Let's bring end to this industry and invest more in producing more good-quality Malaysians.

What is happening to the young people nowadays? Okay maybe this is just one person and it is not a big deal. But I beg to differ. 

To see as young as 19 years old to commit suicide over rejection of relationship, I personally think it is a big deal. Teen age is a very crucial life stage. Teenagers are sensitive. They are rebellious. They want to be acknowledge and at the same time they do not want to carry out the responsibilities. Well most of them. And to add salt to the wound, societies tend to be cruel and not forgiving. We always being judgmental and seldom give chances to teenagers. 

To end your life over a girl or boy? Common, your life is worth much more than that. Life is complicated and hard. But don't focus on the negative. Life is more than that. Instead of burying yourself in the darkness why don't step outside. Life is fun. It is challenging. It is funny. It is adventurous. As Nick Vujicic (I hope I spell his name correctly) says, challenges are not meant to put us down, instead it build our character to become a stronger person (sound sort of like that).

I just hope that guy is safe somewhere else. If he is not, then it is our duty to reflect what should be done to prevent this from happening again.

Croc in a Drain

 Are you kidding me? Catching a crocodile in a drain? That's like catching a lion in a football field. Fortunately the grandpa and his two grandson able to subdue the beast.

If you think about it, why should the crocodile end up in a drain? Are river banks no longer comfy as laying ground? Maybe there is something wrong with river? Or maybe the crocodile is playing hide and seek and instead it was caught hiding by those not so  supporting grandpa and grandson. Common, give the croc a chance. I mean it is not that often you see a croc in a drain. I will be very suprised if a 2.5m crocodile sun-bathing near my house drainage. Well, it is a chance to get one-time popular.Call everyone in vicinity and try to get as much media coverage to the event.

Really, people need take care of the river. Stop polluting our river or eventually we will encounter more incident like this. Can wait for a lion to show up in a football field? Gee.. wonder how people gonna wrestle up the beast?

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD RIGHT NOW?

1. Earthquakes suddenly become everyday news.

  Well not everyday, you just hear it constantly in the news, in the net, in the tube like it is just as common as some YB doing pecah tanah for  a new project. Wonder why?


2. Global economic is tumbling down.

    Do you know anything about GREECE turmoil? Bet you don't. Media is shutting everything from creating public panic. Well don't panic (yet!). It is now spreading to Europe and remember Lehman Bros? That is just the tip of the iceberg.


3. Babies are considered 'waste products'.

    Human life is far lower compare to dignity and image nowadays. Youth today is the leader of tomorrow. Wonder what will happen to us?


4. War, war and more wars.

    Unending battle in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and recently, are you ready? South Korea and North Korea! They are preparing for war and one of them may use the N-bomb. Hopefully not.


5. Provocation of religious figures.

    Free speech on steroid. That is how I put it. People justifying free speech as a freedom to insult, to hurt and to degrade someone. Since when insulting is deemed okay?


6. Micheal Jackson died.

    (okay, that is totally unrelated)

Simple Calculation

Let say the average of human life is 60 years.

1. Out of 60 yrs, 15 years is spent in childhood. Our adult life is roughly

60 - 15 = 45 years


2. We sleep 8 hrs a day and that is one third of a day or one third of our adult life.
(1/3 of 45 years = 15 years)

45 - 15 = 30 years


3. We work 8 hours a day and that is also one third of our adult life (15 years).

30 - 15 = 15 years


4. How many hours do we spend each day doing something not that important (such as watching tv, surfing the net, shopping, etc)

Let say 3 hours or one eighth of our day or our adult life.
(1/8 of 45 years = 5 years)

15 - 5  = 10 years


5. So we only have 10 years to prepare ourselves to meet HIM
[IF (capital I and F) we live for 60 years!.. maybe most of us won't]

To My Christian friends,

Eventually, I have to write this out of my obligation to spread the Truth. Hi! Look, I am not going to persuade you to convert to Islam nor that I am condemning your faith. This is just a matter of defending my religion.

The most important of faith in Islam is we (Muslims) believe in one God. There is no god beside Him and none should be worshiped other than Him. Assuming that God has son is like attributing God alike of human and that is not a characteristic of God. For He is the Almighty. He can do anything. Yes, anything! Even make a woman pregnant without any intervention of a man.

We believe in Jesus (Isa) (peace be upon him) as we believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him). They are called prophets. They are the messengers of truth. There are other prophets such as Abraham (Ibrahim), David (Daud), Joseph (Yusuf) peace be upon them and many others. In fact they are over 124,000 messengers of truth, choose by God to spread the teaching of worship to only one God. The God who created you and I.

As you believe in your Bible, we believe in our Quran. We also believe in the original Bible, not the one that had been edited by human beings. Quran, literally means recitation, has not been changed since it was sent 1,400 years ago to prophet Muhammad (pbuh). You can try to read it. In fact there is a challenge for you. Find one contradiction in this Quran. Just one. I am very sure that you will find none. Look I can boast about Quran all day long, but it is going to bore you. Anyway, I suggest you add Quran to your reading list even it is at the bottom of your 100 books-that-I-must-read list.

We muslim don't keep a secret blade that when you turned the other way, we will slice your throat open. That is one of the big misconception about Islam. If Islam teaches that we should kill everyone who denounces Islam then half of the world population will be wiped out. We respect your belief and we hope you respect ours too. IF you should do anything that make our brothers or sisters suffer, We will not turn a blind eye. We are obliged to defend our brothers and sisters and we will fight. Notice that IF you started it first. Other than that we are peace-loving community.

I hope you don't judge Islam by its followers as I don't judge Christian according to Christian followers. As you know that people tend to say that they are Muslims or Christians but what they did is the other way round. I think you get what I mean. And obviously what you see everyday are followers who did not follow or should I say they are the back-turners. Judge Islam based on its contents of teaching.It is as simple as that.

Lastly, don't hate me just because I say this truth. It is not my will to hurt your feelings. But as I have been taught, I have to spread the truth. It is my obligation.This is the least that I can do.

Cell and Brain

1. Cell is the basic unit of a living thing

2. Cell is actually made up of trillions of atoms (and molecules of course).

3. Remember that atom is not a living thing. So atom, not a living thing, can become living thing when it stick with each other and become a cell. Can you get it? Not a living thing change to living thing. It's just like sand turn into a sandman.Water become a waterman. Oxygen become an oxygenman. Chair become chairman. (Oh, chairman do actually exist). How ridiculous isn't it?

4. Atoms do not have brain of its own. So how come cell can actually 'have brain' of its own? You know how cell functions do you. It's like it has its own mini-city, its own brain inside the cell wall. The energy generator, transportation, hospitals, defense and etc. You know a city, right? It can function in balance just like it has a brain. (Don't tell me that a group of atoms can actually function as a brain. I'm not that stupid)

5. Wait. Let's just stop for a moment and think. How ridiculous is that? It is beyond my comprehension.

6. This is even more fascinating. Millions of cells stick together and become tissue. Tissues sticks together with other types of tissues to form organs. Organs stick together and become a system. Breathing system, Blood circulation system, Nerve system and so on. So all these systems cooperate with each other to form a perfect living thing. A human.

7. A human being with the ability to think of its own.

8. Do I have to tell you think again?

9. Yes. Human have brains. But brain is made up of quadrillions of atoms. So how actually brain can think? It is not a living thing. It is only an organ. An organ than cannot function with the help of other organs. And other organs are actually made up of atoms too! They are not like some kind of bizarre glowing object that radiates colourful lights that produce superpower to actually made the brain to think.

10. No wonder scientist does not understand the brain. Up until now! Brain is the biggest mystery that you carry inside your skull. Unsolved and Unexplained.

11. So, there must be an explanation of this.

12. Truly, this is the sign of a Creator. The One who creates the atom that form a cell and later become a perfect human being. A human being that actually alive. A living thing emerge from non-living thing.

13. The Creator is GOD.

Atoms and Subatomic Particles

1. Atom is very tiny unique 'stuff' that make up everything in this universe. I don't know what to call it, hence, the 'stuff'.

2. Atom comprises of tiny particles called neutron, proton and electron. This is what we learned in our schooldays. For those who managed to pursue their studies, knew that, proton can be divided again into quarks.I don't want to confuse myself so if you want to know more, you have to dig it on your own.

3. To those who doesn't know, atom is not a living thing. It is just 'it'. Well you can explain that it has mass and different energy binds all the particles and make up the atom, but it is known that atom does not have a brain of its own. It cannot maintain its balance on its own. It is not a living thing.

4.The simplest atom is hydrogen. It is comprises of one proton and one electron. No neutron. So, a hydrogen atom 'stick' to another hydrogen atom to form a hydrogen gas. A gas that is colourless and highly flammable.

5. If ( I said 'if') you add a proton, an electron and a neutron to THE hydrogen atom, suddenly you get a new type of atom. A helium. (A helium is another type of gas that makes your voice sounds like Alvin and the chipmunks.)

6. Don't you think it is weird? The same atom (I'm talking about the components: neutron, electron and proton) suddenly have different characteristics. Its like the difference between oxygen that you cannot see and an iron that you can actually hold is only in the properties of the atom. The difference of protons, electrons and neutrons. It's not weird, it is AMAZING! It is mind boggling!

7. Why it is AMAZING? Because each atom that vary in their properties exhibit different kinds of characteristics. If you think about it, actually they are just the same, that is, comprises of proton, neutron and electron! We call this different characteristics as different elements.

8. Different elements that make up all things that you can see right now in front of you. Your laptop, your fingers, the air you breathe, the ants, the glass ( Okay, i need to wash that glass ASAP). Can you get it?

9. Now, if you study long enough, you will know that each elements MUST have specific properties. If one properties (example the mass of proton) is different, then the whole structure of the atom will collapse. Meaning, scientifically speaking, it cannot exist!

10. So, do you think all this elements are by chance, exist on its own? I don't think so. There must be a mega-super-ultra-omnipotent awesome power that governs and creates this magnificent 'stuff'. The stuff only exist in balance and according to its properties . The stuff that we called 'atom'.

11. The is only one that has this mega-super-ultra-omnipotent awesome power.

12. He is GOD.

French people suck!

Okay, before you hold any grudge on me, I am going to clear out this accusation. Not all French are 'bad', only some(around 57% I suppose). I am talking about the burqa issue here right now not an inner mafia gangster problem.

I know, I know it is not my country but hey, it is a freedom of speech as you may say. I am not going to comment about how you manage your country. It is about how you people treat your own people unjustly by justifying that what they did is not in line with French way of life. How absurd is that?

How people live they life is absolutely their own choice. Look, I am not going to petition a ban of mini skirt or tight jeans worn by non-Muslim society just to justify that it is not in parallel with the teaching of Islam or even the way of life of Asian people. So, why would you?

Have you ever ask those women why they wear burqa or you just simply make a conclusion that they wear it because they are forced to do so? It seems that all this commotion can be explained in one word. That word is 'fear'. You just afraid that one day Islam will knock on you door and introduced 'himself'.

The question is can you hear it?

Work! Work! Work!

Have you ever thought of doing something so regularly that one day you just tired of doing it again and again and again? It's just same old day! You wake up, you go to work, eat, work again, go back to home, eat, sleep and wake up again to repeat the whole step .. again. If you think hard, this life is totally just like a SLAVE!! A WORLD SCALE of SLAVE! This is a slavery by intention. We succumb ourself to this system that give only a little for our hard work. This is not fair! Okay, remind me again that is not a dream or a matrix because this is sound just ridiculous.

Alhamdulillah, Allah S.W.T told us that work is a kind of Ibadah. Something that you d0 to show how faithful you are to the teaching of Islam. But this only applicable if your intention to work is solely as a way to show gratitude towards Him. Because Allah S.W.T wants us to work. By working we follow the teaching and compensate a pahala or goodness. If you work just to make more money or to pay your bills or loans or debt then the routine of your daily life is like nothing. You work for NOTHING. Meaning that totally defines the word SLAVERY of DUNIYA! You just one of the slaves who are forced to work and work and work and work until you are not able to wake up from that same very bed.
